1 Estate agent completes sellers details and property information online and selects a solicitor or conveyancer. Asks seller to complete Home Use and Home Contents Forms.         2 Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or Home Condition Report (HCR), local searches and title documents requested plus further documents for leasehold properties.         3 Once all relevant parts of the HIP are compiled, solicitor completes index and checks that all documents are correct. Arranges for a copies to be sent to himself, the agent and the seller.         4 When a buyer has been found, the HIP provider will send a copy to the buyers solicitor and the conveyancing process begins.
