| A HIP consists of 'required' (mandatory) and 'authorised' (optional) items. It must contain the following 'required' information: |

| From 1 April 2009, a HIP must also contain a Property Information Questionnaire. |

| The seller can also choose to include optional items which may help speed up the sale and ensure the process goes more smoothly. These 'authorised' items include: |
